- 2003 Bay Stallion, Nic was purchased as a long yearling from Oasis Ranch Inc. in California. We brought him home and Sand started him as a two year old. He was the easiest we've ever started, very willing and accepting. In the late fall, we sent him to be trained by Jason Grimshaw in Pilot Point, Texas. Jason focused his training on working cow horse. He did a few competitions, (what we could afford) and earned $1100 in NRCHA events. At the 2007 NRCHA World Show, he was Hi-Score down the fence in the Ltd Open. In 2008, we decided to bring him home and he has exceeded our expectations. This is Sand's first reining/cow horse and he is having a ton of fun. Nic is wonderful to have around, we don't worry about our children around him, he loves to snuggle and he is consistant in the show pen, always earning our money back. He is quiet and trainable and we cannot wait to see what his babies can do! He will be standing the 2010 breeding season at Copperleaf Ranch.
